Winter Wonderland Baby Shower

Over Christmas while everyone was back in Oregon, we had my sister Kacey's baby shower.  What a fun shower it was! Our theme was Winter Wonderland and it was my favorite shower theme I've thrown or even been to! Since the shower was right after Christmas, it was easy to put together! We kept up all of the Christmas decor and anything additional was purchased at a lower cost since it was right after the holiday!  We went to the Dollar Tree and purchased picture frames to make chalkboard signs, and vases which we glittered by using mod podge and glitter (we made our own mod podge with Elmer's glue and water).

We had 3 Tables; the first one was our Hot Chocolate Bar, we offered hot chocolate, baileys, marshmallows, crushed candy canes, coffee, marshmallow stirrers and white chocolate/chocolate covered pretzels!

Another table for the cake/cupcakes, wine, champagne, and water; and the last table was our appetizer bar!

Party Favors: Mini mason jars filled with hot coco and marshmallows with a mini baileys attached.
Games are a MUST for any shower!  For Kacey's baby shower we ordered 2 games off of etsy: Door Prize Scratch OffNursery Rhyme Quizand we made/printed  Daddy Knows Best on our own!

I designed the baby shower invitations at Zazzle.com and also included the print out rhyme requesting a book to help build Connor's library!

  1. Oh! I am drooling over these chocolates. I had a baby shower just like this in one of the most beautiful LA venue. Such a good feeling it is to give birth to a new life. I really liked the rhyme with the invitation, it is too cute to ignore.
