Black Bean Hamburgers

Ingredients:
  • 1 can of black beans
  • 1 cup of bread crumbs
  • 3tbs of salsa 
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup of cooked brown rice
Makes approx. 5 patties

Cook rice according to instructions. Drain and mash your can of black beans. Mix all of the ingredients together and form patties.  Cook on skillet until brown on both sides!

Did you know a cup of black beans has 15 grams of protein and doesn't contain the saturated fat found in meat!?  Healthy and Delicious!!! Also, you can use organic bread crumbs and rice to make the patties dairy/soy free :)
