Yummy Dried Bananas

Have some ripe bananas you need to eat up before they get too ripe?  Try these homemade dried banana chips! They are so easy and much healthier then the store bought kind (and cheaper too)! You make these in the oven, so no need to rush out and buy a food dehydrator.

Ingredients:
2 tsp. olive oil
4 ripe bananas
  1. Preheat the oven to 175*
  2. Lightly coat cookie sheets with the olive oil
  3. Slice the bananas thinly and arrange them in one layer on the cookie sheets
  4. Cook bananas in the oven for about 3 hours, until they are dehydrated (but not rock solid)
  5. Cool banana chips on a wire rack
  6. Store them in an airtight container (I store mine in the fridge)

I have made these several times and I love them!! I even pack them in my hubby's lunch for him to snack on.
