Cajon Salmon with Avocado Salsa

I got this recipe from a friend via Pinterest and this salmon is seriously Ahhhmazing. If your not a big fish fan you will love this salsa that goes on top and the fish doesn't taste fishy at all! This salmon/salsa is Whole 30 approved as well so you know it is super healthy!


  • 2lb salmon
  • 1Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp ancho chili powder
Mix the seasoning together together. Rub your salmon fillets with olive oil then the seasoning rub. Refrigerate for 30 min (I don't do this part and it still taste amazing).  Bake for 20-25 minutes at 375*.  

 Avocado Salsa:

  • 1 avocado
  • Juice from 2 limes
  • 1/2 small onion diced
  • 1-2 Tbsp chopped cilantro
    •  I usually double the avocado salsa recipe because I love this salsa sooo much

While the salmon is in the oven make your avocado salsa. Slice up your avocado and mix in your lime juice, onion and cilantro. Salt/pepper to taste. That's it!
